on July 2nd & 3rd – 8.30 AM – 12.30 PMExcellent speakers have accepted to come and present at the program
In the Month of May, Several organisations in the USA including ATMA, raised about ONE MILLION DOLLARS through the campaign ‘Help Tamilnadu Breathe’ in order to fight the new wave of Covid in Tamilnadu. TNF helped to procure 360 oxygen concentrators worth $450,000 (INR Three crore twenty-four lakhs), a 20-bed modular oxygen generator system worth $45,000 (INR 32 lakhs), and PPE’s pulse oximeters and other medical supplies worth $24,000 (18 lakh rupees). The medical supplies and equipment were sent to Chengalpet Medical College, Mahatma Gandhi Government Medical College & Hospital Tiruchirapalli, Kilpauk Medical College Chennai, Thiruvarur Government Hospital, Coimbatore Government ESI Hospital, and Tambaram Government Hospital.We thank all the donors for coming out in full support of this fund raising campaign in a short time
American Tamil Medical Association in collaboration with Tamil Nadu foundation,FETNA ,IIT Madras Alumni,ATEA has raised money to supply oxygen concentrators ,CPAP masks etc to Tamil Nadu Government Designated Covid Care Centers and hospitals
ATMA has donated 100 vials of Amphotericin B lipid emulsion and 1000 tablets of Posaconazole to Thanjavur Medical College.Tamil Nadu’s Health Secretary Dr.J.Radhakrishnan and
Tamil Nadu’s health minister Mr.Ma Subramanian were present in Thanjavur Medical College when the medications arrived at Thanjavur Medical College.
The Dean of Thanjavur Medical College was very thankful. Tamil Nadu Health Secretary Dr.J.Radhakrishnan was delighted by the timely help ATMA had provided. The Tamil Nadu health minister Mr.Ma Subramanian also was very impressed by American Tamil Medical Association’s quick response.

Dear ATMA members
I thank everyone for giving me an opportunity to serve as the President of ATMA- American Tamil Medical Association. I am very honored and privileged to serve in this role.
As I take this great responsibility during the ongoing pandemic, I wish to work with everyone as a team to enhance the role of ATMA in providing medical needs to our community in Tamilnadu as well as locally.
In the last 15 years ATMA has been involved in many projects that have benefitted several thousands, including multiple projects during the COVID pandemic. We will continue to do so as needed.

In the coming months, we have some challenges that we have to face. However, I have the confidence that due the resilience, maturity, patience and selfless contributions made by our members, we should be able to overcome any challenge.
I encourage everyone to get actively involved in various committees and contribute whatever possible. Together, we can achieve anything.
